On average, one child dies every two weeks in the home from something that is completely preventable! Families commonly child-proof their homes by making sure toxic materials are locked away, that electrical sockets are covered and stairwells have baby gates.
However, as this PSA explains, too frequently children are crushed after climbing on things around the house that are not properly anchored, be it a book shelf, dresser or TV stand.
