AT&T’s “It Can Wait” campaign doesn’t pull any punches when it comes to educating cellphone users about the dangers of texting and driving.
Previously, the company got director Werner Herzog to document the lives of real people whose lives were shattered by texting-related accidents. In their latest video marking their campaign’s fifth anniversary they created this beautiful and devastating film that shows that it’s not just texting but any kind of smartphone activity while driving that endangers lives.
It follows six different people on an average day, but when one mother quickly glances down at her social media post while on the road, the “minor” distraction has major consequences. Be prepared to pull out the tissues.
Pass on the message. No post is worth a life.
