Jessica and Duane Biser arranged a very special Christmas surprise for their children with help from the Fairfax County Animal Shelter in northern Virginia. The parents fell in love with a Pit bull mix puppy named Jackson and arranged with the shelter to bring him home.
But instead of simply showing up at home with the puppy, animal shelter volunteers dressed as elves and hand-delivered Jackson’s to the family’s home. Needless to say, the kids were overjoyed to see what Santa’s elves had brought for them, and their reaction when they open the door is precious!
The program was so successful the elf deliveries have been going on for a few years.
I love surprises that involve shelter animals. This shelter was pranked in the best way possible.
