High School Dance Team’s Thought-Provoking Performance About Fear Goes Viral

One of the fun parts about high-school sporting events is that it’s not only the athletes that get to shine in the spotlight. The half-time performances give opportunities to dancers, cheerleaders and the school band to show off their talents. Recently, the Mahomet-Seymour High School Dance Team took to the court to perform a piece that asks the life question, “What room does fear have?”. Their dance is now going viral!

“We are incredibly proud of these amazing dancers; their strength, talents, joy, time, spirit, heart and translation thru art,” says the high school. “Here is a video of their moving performance from Friday night.”

Instead of a pop-piece the dancers move to a thought-provoking track called, “What Are You Afraid Of” by Jon Jorgenson. It’s definitely not your typical half-time performance, but it’s one that’s very memorable.
