Over the past several years, Scott Six has reunited 55 families with their lost dogs. He says he doesn’t do it for money but because he loves the animals. If he can reunite a dog with his/her family, it’s all the reward he needs. How has he been so successful in finding them?
Scott says he thoroughly surveys the area and understands that dogs circle and have behaviors that help him locate them. He even studies topographic maps to see where the water is to help him determine where the dogs might migrate. He’s also armed with a powerful lure – bacon. A local grill house donates their bacon scraps and grease to Scott to aid him in his searches.
