When Love Bug, a poor Pit Bull puppy, arrived at Vet Ranch he was literally 2 minutes away from being euthanized. He was being walked to the euthanasia chamber when Dr. Matt received a frantic call saying he was the dog’s only hope. So of course Dr. Matt jumped into his truck and drove an hour to pick the 6-month-old pup up from the animal shelter.

Vet Ranch took in Love Bug and worked hard to get him better. He had very severe mange. The scabs were open and bleeding and he smelled terrible from a staph infection. Love Bug was very close to accepting his fate and giving up. He didn’t have the energy to keep on going because of all the pain he was in.

But a few weeks later, Love Bug’s face was healing and he began feeling “tons” better.

And three months later? He’s fully of energy and back to being a normal pup.
