Two small dogs were incredibly happy to be freed after they were left inside a dangerously hot vehicle with temperatures over 90 degrees at a shopping center in Taylor, Michigan. Security attempted to contact the owner, but after an hour, bystanders took action.
One man tried to break the window with a knife. Another bystander used a golf club and successfully broke open the window. Security then helped remove the two dogs from the vehicle and gave them water in a makeshift container. The rescue took place on August 12, 2016.
The two dogs were taken to a local animal shelter and then placed in care of a rescue group. Meanwhile, their owner was arrested for animal abuse.
