There is an outstanding season for ice skating on Lake Blanktjärn, located in the northwestern part of Sweden. The ice is 10 cm plus (5 inches plus) thick and clear enough to see the bottom of the lake and the fish swimming below your feet. This couple took their skates and their dogs out to enjoy a beautiful day!
While we’d always caution dog lovers to be careful around icy lakes and not let their dogs go off leash anywhere near them, we’re quite sure these people were experienced enough and were certain conditions on the lake were safe for themselves and their beloved family members.
