Here’s proof that if you find pure joy in the simple things you can live a 100 years. Armand Foisy was out with his 101-year-old mother, Albina, and noticed it was snowing higher up in Lillooet, British Columbia. The two drove to where the snow was falling and that’s when Albina sprung out of their car to play in the snow.
“I turned the car around about three kilometres from town, but before I could get back on the road, the door flies open and out steps Mom,” Armand says in a video.
Albina packs some snow together to make a snowball before tossing it.
“When you have a mother that’s 101 years old, it’s a good idea to keep the camera nearby for those special moments,” says Armand of the experience.
I think we’d all agree with Albina’s sentiment that no matter how old you are, “It’s kind of fun to play in the snow!”
And in November 2018, Armand shared, “Three years ago today that mom was playing in the snow. Now she’s 104 and doing very well. Can you imagine?”
