Rescued Baby Donkey Makes the Sweetest Brays for His Human Mom

One morning, Sarah and her husband were walking on their property when they discovered that their donkey had just given birth. However, they were shocked when the mother donkey immediately turned on her newborn and began stomping him. Sarah quickly intervened to rescue the baby donkey.

They rushed the little one, whom they named Cash, back to their home and called the vet. The vet explained that the mother’s behavior might be a form of post-partum depression. Realizing the mother couldn’t care for Cash, Sarah and her husband took on the responsibility themselves.

Caring for Cash meant round-the-clock feeding and attention. Although they tried reintroducing him to his mother, neither showed any interest in bonding, so Cash grew accustomed to life with his human parents and canine siblings. Over time, he began to think of himself as part of their human-dog family.

Cash makes the sweetest brays if he loses sight of his human mom, and he eagerly joins the family on walks and in daily activities. He mimics whatever the dogs do, and in return, the dogs are incredibly protective of him. Cash has so much joy to give and is deeply loved by his entire family.
