Now in its 32nd year, the Australian Firefighters Calendar continues its winning formula by pairing Australian firefighters with adorable animals. Dogs, cats, horses, and native Australian wildlife appear alongside the heroic and hunky men.
For 2025, funds raised from the calendar will support several well-deserving charities across Australia and the U.S. Among this year’s recipients are people and pets affected by Hurricanes Milton and Helene. Partnering with Greater Good Charities, donations will go toward providing medical assistance, food, and shelter to those in need.
“The Australian Firefighters Calendar is known for its charitable efforts, often supporting various causes, including disaster relief. While we primarily focus on wildlife and dog and cat refuges in Australia, we’re also expanding our support to international relief efforts, like those for Hurricane Helene in the U.S.,” said David Rogers, director of the Australian Firefighters Calendar.
The Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital, an Australian animal hospital that treated numerous animals affected by Australia’s wildfires, will also be a recipient of donations.
“This year marks the 5-year anniversary of the devastating Black Summer Bushfires in Australia, which reportedly claimed the lives of 3 billion native animals. This tragic event shocked people worldwide and sparked our campaign to build Australia’s only mobile wildlife hospital, Matilda,” said Dr. Stephen Mills, founder and CEO of Byron Bay Wildlife Hospital. “The global support we received has literally provided us the vehicle to save wildlife wherever help is needed.”
