When the San Diego Humane Society rescued Stella, a stray Bull Terrier, she had just been hit by the San Diego trolley. They didn’t know how she had ended up in such a dangerous situation or how she had managed to survive, but they could see she was full of hope. Despite her severe injuries and being in a lot of pain, Stella’s tail wagged and wagged and wouldn’t stop.
They began tending to her wounds and learned she had a badly dislocated elbow and severe injuries to her mouth. But they weren’t about to give up on her.
After her surgeries, Stella needed ongoing care, which she received and much more with her foster family. Today, Stella is healed, happy, and loved—and her tail still hasn’t stopped wagging
