Many of us suffer from stage-fright when standing up in front of a crowd of people. However, Anna Clendening has more than just the regular case of nerves to deal with when she auditioned for America’s Got Talent. The 20-year-old was diagnosed with anxiety and depression when she was 14 and a few months prior to stepping on stage she had been bedridden and wouldn’t leave her home.
She says that music has been her lifeline and fighting through her panic attacks and feeling bad about herself. She found the strength to appear on the show and face thousands of people to perform an emotional version of ‘Hallelujah’.
