Removing hard water stains that build up on faucets and sinks is one of those household chores that everyone dislikes. You can use special cleaners or harsh chemicals, but as this video tutorial demonstrates, there’s a much simpler and affordable way to remove the deposits by using vinegar.
Soak a cloth or rag in distilled white vinegar and then drape it over the stains, and leave it for an hour. Then, take an old sponge, or a non-scratch sponge, and scrub and remove the hard water deposits. Repeat the steps as necessary.
This trick works because the acid in the vinegar easily dissolves the calcium and hard water deposits and makes it easy to remove. It works on porcelain and steel sinks. Watch the video for the details on the steps and more tips!
