If people can’t even text and walk, why do they text and drive? That’s the question The Western Cape Government in South Africa poses in their humorous, but hard-hitting, public service announcement about the dangers of texting and driving.
In it, a number of people are captured on surveillance cameras staring down at their phones only to bump, slide and fall into people and objects around them because they are too distracted to notice the dangers right in front of them. So, is it any wonder what damage can be done when they do the same thing behind the wheel of a car?
