While visiting Portugal recently, Malinda Kathleen Reese visited a church with beautiful acoustics all by herself (and whoever filmed) so she decided to sing. She sings a bit of “Ave Maris Stella” and the acoustics beautifully complement her singing.
“When you get a Pantheon style church with a 6 second acoustic delay all to yourself…” the YouTuber/musician wrote and posted the short video to Twitter, where it quickly amassed a lot of views and fans.
“I would cry if I heard my voice sound like that,” one user commented. “I am covered in chills!” another wrote.
Several others used the adjectives “heavenly”, “beautiful” and “magical”.

Malinda’s impromptu performance reminds me of another young girl’s singing while visiting a well in Italy.
