A brave abandoned puppy got herself rescued when she found her way to an animal shelter on the island of Crete. Takis runs a shelter for homeless dogs. Recently, he heard a puppy crying outside of his shelter gates from his room. When he went to investigate, he found Bibi, a very skinny puppy covered with ticks and very dehydrated. She was only a few months old and had clearly been on her own for a while. Thankfully, she was clever enough to end up in the right place at the right time.
No doubt, Bibi was drawn to the shelter by the sounds of the barking dogs. Bibi soon was making herself at home at the shelter and befriending the other rescued dogs. Takis could tell that part of the reason Bibi survived is that she is a very adventurous and independent dog. She’s also a bit naughty and Takis caught her stealing his shoes more than once.
Bibi caught the eye of a couple in the Netherlands and they adopted her. Bibi’s new mom says that Bibi is a very brave and curious dog. She’s still a bit naughty, but she is learning to enjoy life and be loved by her new family!
