In this touching video from the Marine Corps, a little boy sees a Marine guard on duty and believes he may be Santa Claus and asks if the soldier will take his wish list and, in a way, he’s right!
Every year, the United States Marine Corps Reserve collects and distributes new and unwrapped toys as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the communities in which the campaign is conducted.
Called Toys For Tots, the Christmas program was established back in 1947 just a few years after World War II ended. Major Bill Hendricks, USMCR, began the program when he gave toys to children in his community and the idea soon spread through the Marine Corps and across the country.
Share this beautiful video and spread the word about this wonderful Christmas giving program.
