A Tibetan Mastiff found dragging over 30 pounds of matted fur is getting a second chance thanks to her rescuers with One Tail At A Time. Recently, the large dog, now named Sprout, was spotted by Chicago Animal Care and Control covered in matted fur, urine and feces. They notified One Tail At A Time (OTAT) who arrived within the hour to pick Sprout up. The poor dog could barely move without pain. “During a sedated groom we removed 32.4 lbs of mats that tugged on her skin causing pain, irritation, and a raging skin infection,” OTAT shared on social media.
