The age-old problem that parents face of convincing the kids to clean up after themselves was cleverly handled by this dad.
After growing tired and frustrated that his teenagers refused to put their dishes in the dishwasher, he gave them this ultimatum, with a little bit of help from Liam Neeson in the “Taken” movie.
It reads:
I don’t know who you are.
I don’t know what you want. If you are looking for a maid to clean up after you, I can tell you I don’t do that.
But what I do have are a very particular set of skills. Skills I have acquired over a very long lifetime. Skills that make me a an expert in home WIFI systems and Cellular Data plans.
If you clean up your own kitchen mess, that’ll be the end of it.
I will not look for you, I will not pursue you.
But if you don’t, I will look for you, I will find you…
AND I WILL DISCONNECT YOU.
After posting the picture to reddit, many people questioned whether or not the dad could make good on his threat. He responded, “I don’t change the password. I use MAC address filtering to block specific devices from the router. And the devices are iPhones and Chromebooks. I sincerely doubt they can hack into any router. They don’t even know what a MAC address is. They probably think it is something related to Apple.”
Hmm. If I were those kids I’d start taking care of those dishes!
