When I think of polar bears, I think of the magnificent white bears ambling across the ice and glaciers in the arctic. However, Canadian photographer Dennis Fast reveals a completely different backdrop to this iconic northern animal.
Fast took these beautiful photographs of polar bears enjoying the summer and relaxing in colorful fields of fireweed while on safari with Churchill Wild in Hudson Bay.
Fast has noticed that polar bears love to play with virtually everything. He says while watching them, he’s seen them enjoy chewing on fresh grass and, as you will see in a photo below, they also like munching on fireweed blossoms too!
“My travels in pursuit of wildlife have taken me to adventures that very few people get to experience,” he says on his website. Fast hopes his photographs inspire people to care about all wildlife and do their part to conserve and protect it. Fast shared his photos of this rare scene with Reshareworthy.com and I’m sure you will love them!
