Canadian figure skater Elizabeth Putnam has performed on sheets of ice all over the world, but never one like this. Putnam put on her skates and at an altitude of 2,500 feet she begins skating atop the frozen Widgeon Lake near Coquitlam, British Columbia.
For her, it was one of the most special skating experiences she’s ever had because it was so free and quiet. The video footage is filmed from a helicopter, providing some beautiful birdseye views of the skater that will make you wish you could skate in a “rink” like this!
