Friend’s Surprise Visit Turns Hilarious After She Finds Dachshund Stuck in Hoodie

Anyone who has had a Dachshund knows how much they like to burrow. It’s in their nature. But this behavior can get them into a spot of trouble now and then. That’s what Amanda’s friend discovered when she came by for a visit while they were away from home.

Amanda shared a security video on TikTok of what her friend discovered when she came by to pick up her shirt she had left behind on a previous visit. There, in the living room, was Shortstop the Dachshund in what we’d call a “bit of a pickle.”

Somehow the dog had gotten himself stuck in the sleeve of a hoodie. Amanda captioned the video, “When your friend breaks into your house to get her shirt and ends up rescuing your dog that’s trapped in the sleeve of a hoodie.”

Her friend’s laughter at seeing Shortstop makes us laugh right along with her. We couldn’t stop smiling at how the sweet pup’s tail never stops wagging in the sleeve as she bends down to take a photo. What a cutie! After a bit of a struggle, Shortstop is finally freed and no worse for wear.

Viewers couldn’t stop laughing either. One person commented, “I love how excited the pup was at your friend coming to help. That tail wag cracked me up.” Some else joked, “I think the cat did it.”

Some viewers must have owned Dachshund’s themselves because one person noted, “There has never been a dachshund that has not done this at least once.” And another viewer said, “Sausage dogs always doing the most and nothing at the same time.”

Hilarious! Amanda shared a follow up video revealing that Shortstop gets up to regular doggie activities too and isn’t always getting into mischief. In fact, he looks like a very sweet doggo.
