A German Shepherd and Golden Retriever have won the hearts of millions of dog lovers when they became instant friends.
Fletcher Strong, the German Shepherd’s dad, shared a video of them first meeting for the first time over the fence in the backyards. Fletcher captioned the video, “He found a friend.”

The German Shepherd is visibly delighted and wants to play with the Golden Retriever, leaping up on the fence to get close. The other dog is equally playful, pawing over the fence to touch his new pal. And in a heartwarming moment the two dogs boop their noses together.
Viewers were delighted. One person commented, “They nose booped. When’s the wedding?”
“You guys gotta make the doggy gate,” suggested one viewer. Another person figured the dogs will take care of that problem all on their own, writing, “How long till they figure they can both clear the fence?” A viewer, noting the fence was quite “wobbly” responded, “When the fence falls over.”
A viewer summed up the first meet wonderfully when they commented, “They’re so pure like, they just immediately want to be friends and play and share love.”
