Groom’s Sister Reads Texts From Bride And Groom’s First Dates And Makes Everyone Cheer

A groom’s sister made everyone smile with her funny and unexpectedly heartwarming speech at his wedding.

She kept the texts of her brother, Mark (the groom), from when he first met his bride-to-be, Sarah, and read them out for the audience. “So…,” she begins with the first one. “…went on a date with the volleyball girl.” She punctuates each quote with the date before her last one surprises everyone in the audience. When Mark’s sister finishes her last one, Sarah is visibly moved and the audience bursts out in applause.

And no wonder Sarah is moved. It’s so extremely heartwarming to hear that Mark had made up his mind that she was “the one” after a month of dating. Viewers of the video on reddit thought the same. One redditor wrote, “I was expecting something a bit embarrassing, but turned out to be something so beautiful And the bride’s reaction is priceless.”

Another wrote, “The immediate sob that hits her at ‘she’s the one’ is so cute.”

“He’s really lucky to have such a great sister,” one other commenter noted of Mark.

The one month and he knew also struck a chord with other redditors who shared their personal stories.

“My husband and I moved in together after a month. We’ve now been together 18 years,” said one viewer.

“The day my husband and I met, we didn’t even speak. My husband told his friend standing next to him after I walked into the dojo/training room: ‘that’s wifey right there, and she don’t even know’ the friend took it as a joke and laughed because it was ridiculous and corny. He said my husband did not laugh,” wrote another woman.

“My husband came for a job interview with my boss, very early in the morning,” shared a redditor. “Apparently when he left, I smiled and said hello as he passed my desk. He said hello back and kept walking but he’d already decided I was The One. Luckily he was offered the job, so we actually met properly a few months later!”
