Logan’s Legacy’s Suzette Hall received a message about Joel, a husky who had collapsed on a lawn and was badly injured, revealing, “Poor baby was attacked by dogs and left to die.”
When she arrived at the home, the husky was wailing in pain and had been laying on the grass for hours. He was so badly hurt that “you could literally see his jugular” Suzette wrote.

She rushed the husky to the vet who didn’t think the dog would make it. But Suzette insisted “he had to” and could see in his eyes that he wanted to live.
The next morning, Joel was awake and giving kisses to the staff and rescuers. He had survived surgery and made it through the night.
Suzette knew Joel is grateful to be alive and that he is a “complete miracle.” After two weeks of healing at the vet clinic, Joel could go into foster care, where he’s thriving. “He loves to cuddle. He loves other dogs. He loves everyone. He loves to roll around and cuddle,” said Suzette.
