Photographer Leo Rosas shares 7 easy tips that will take your photography to another level. After seeing this, I tried a couple of these tricks and love the results! I’m looking forward to trying all of these in the near future…
1. Mount a GoPro camera to an eggtimer to create a moving timelapse
2. Use colored markers on a plastic bag to make a cheap, artistic filter.
3. Smear Vaseline on an inexpensive filter to create a cool vignette. (Make sure the Vaseline is on the disposable filter, not your expensive camera lens!)
4. Use tupperware, transparent paper and tinfoil to make a cheap, but effective flash diffuser.
5. Use welding glass and elastic bands to make a Neutral Density filter.
6. Use string as a tripod. This is really great if you’re just starting out and don’t have the cash to buy a tripod, or if you’re on the go and don’t have your tripod handy!
7. Cut shapes out of cardboard taped to your lens for an easy Bokeh hack.
