A heartbreaking story out of Jacksonville, Florida demonstrates the unwaivering loyalty dog have towards their humans. Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to the call of a woman who had died after she was apparently struck and killed by a large vehicle on a suburban road.
Kelly Black, 42, was walking her dog, Paco, when she was hit. Action News reported that it’s likely the truck driver was unaware that they had hit her.
Paco was found by her side and followed her as her body was taken away. He refused to leave the scene of the accident afterwards and lay at the crash site for several hours.

Paco remained there until his family came. He began wagging his tail his tail as he got into the car.
