Two men came to the rescue of two foxes after the animals became stranded in a torrential downpour that hit Saskatchewan, Canada, causing flash flooding.
The young men risked their lives to help the animals as 8 inches of rain quickly began flooding the roads and highways with water.
The rescue was documented in realtime on Twitter by one of their friends, Derek Roeher, who tweeted their heroic actions.
Derek tweeted that it took his friends about two minutes to swim to the foxes and bring them back to their truck. One fox tried to get away, according to Derek, “then realized it was too drained and had no better option!”
Great job, guys! Here’s the original tweet.
