Photographer Catches Bobcat Kittens Playing With Golf Balls On Course

While photographing a golf tournament fundraiser in Littletown, Colorado recently, David and Lynn Townsend made their way to the 13th hole at Arrowhead Golf Club when they spotted some unexpected wildlife guests on the golf course. There in front of them were four playful bobcat kittens.

Luckily, the couple, who operate David Lynn Photography, were ready with their cameras.

David shared photos of the adorable wildlife scene on Instagram and wrote, “@arrowheadcolorado was romping grounds for a mama BOBCAT and her 4 playful cubs! Got to spend a few minutes watching these kitties steal golf balls off the fairway and have a great time playing together.” (Note: You can scroll through the images below)

David added, “Thanks to mama bobcat for being super chill while golfers wandered by.” He later told Denver 7 that he was fortunate enough to be “in the right place at the right time.” The photos show the cute wild cats jumping with the golf balls in their mouths and playing with their siblings.

The Arrowhead Golf Course backs up to Roxborough State Park, which is home to a lot of different wildlife.
