Puppies Dumped By Taco Stand Rescued Before The Worst Happened

Deedee and Dexter are barely three months old but the two puppies already know what extreme hardship is. They were heartlessly dumped by a taco stand near a high kill shelter in Harris County, Texas.

The two puppies were starving but too afraid to approach people. That’s when Samantha with Street Life To The Sweet Life in Houston, Texas got word of the pair.

Samantha noted that the nearby shelter is very full and the puppies had no idea what to do.

Samantha’s husband helped set up a trap with food to lure the two frightened pups inside. They were quickly caught and just as quickly as they were rescued, the two pups were placed into a foster home with children where, as Samantha says, they will learn what love is.

Samantha adds that in the case of these two puppies “one man’s trash is another man’s treasure.” The two puppies will find families to treasure them thanks to Samantha and her husband.
