There are moments of simple joy around us every day if you just look. Javier Urrutia noticed one recently when he looked out the window at work. Urrutia works at a real estate company in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico and there is a fountain out front of the office in the plaza.
He noticed a stranger approach the fountain holding a tiny puppy in his hands. The man was cradling the puppy ever so gently as began to give the pup a bath. Urrutia knew he wanted to film the sweet scene. He later posted the video to TikTok and captioned it, “De lo mas bonito que vimos ayer” [“The most beautiful thing I saw yesterday.”]

The man washes the puppy with a big smile on his face.
One of Urrutia’s colleagues also noticed what was going on and stepped out to lend the man a hand. When the man was done washing the puppy he held it in the air like a proud parent.

Viewers were as equally enamoured with the man washing the puppy as Urrutia was. “Awwww. I heard him say “Let’s clean your patitas [paws],” commented one viewer.
“Top tier humanity. No politics. Just simple human pleasure,” said another.

“Why is this video so precious?” asked one viewer. A person responded, “It’s because of how he proudly holds up the puppy.” Another answered, “Because you see real love, without condition. Just happiness. What beautiful small things happen in this chaotic world.”
Urrutia shared a third part with the man drying off the puppy.

Although it wasn’t clear to Urrutia if the puppy was the man’s or a stray puppy off the street, one thing was clear. The man definitely cares for the puppy’s well being.
