When Beaker the African Goose was just a week old he was attacked by a mink and lost half his bill. But he survived thanks to Nichole Gagnon, who brought him home and helped him learn how to eat and take care of himself. He became attached to her, as baby birds become imprinted on their mothers, and now the two inseparable. Beaker has also learned how to be a “real goose” thanks to his barnyard friends.
Watch how this rescue goose is now an integral part of life on the farm, and how he still loves to get cuddles from his mom in the heartwarming video below.
