Visitors to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum weren’t just delighted by the aeronautical vehicles on display but also by the U.S. Air Force Band, which treated them to an unexpected holiday music flash mob.
The band’s surprise performance began with a single member of the band playing “Greensleeves” on the English horn. She was soon joined by over 100 instrumentalists and vocalists who popped up in throughout the crowd. They preform the Christmas carols “What Child is This” and “Carol of the Bells” with a Space Shuttle behind them. And with the awesome acoustics of the giant hangar the music is spectacular!
Share the holiday spirit with your friends!
