Did you know that thieves can break into these types of suitcases without leaving a trace? Here is some advice on how to keep your belongings safe by thwarting potential thieves.
If you carry camera equipment, fragile items or other valuables in your checked-in luggage, then a hard-sided suitcase or pelican case seems like a great idea. Otherwise, the safest thing to probably do is to not pack anything of value in your checked-in luggage. That way if you lose something, you’re not going cry if it gets stolen and your travel insurance will likely cover the loss. Note: the video creator said that TSA agents always look at his Best padlocks and ask what he has in the pelican cases. He said that after X-Raying, he’s only had to open them once in 50+ trips.
