Every year when the mangoes are ripe a family of wild elephants visit Mfuwe Lodge in Zambia. Led by their matriarch Wonky Tusk they carefully make their way through the Lodge’s reception area and onto the the grounds where the mango tree stands so they can enjoy a fruity snack.
You can see the incredible trust they have for their human friends as they lay down to sleep on the lawn and by the gentle rumbling they make when walking through the lodge. Needless to say, it’s a special day for the visitors too. I so want to stay at this hotel!
