With A Million Lights, Couple’s Home Dazzles Holiday Visitors and Warms Hearts

It’s a holiday-decorated home with up to a million lights and 74 inflatables! For the past ten years, Mark Cornetti and Nasheel Joules have transformed their home in McKinney, Texas, into a dazzling winter wonderland. What began as a small activity for the couple’s enjoyment has now become a beloved destination for visitors eager to experience the glittering spectacle.

The tradition started after Nasheel, an avid fan of Christmas lights, was diagnosed with CAPS, a rare autoinflammatory disease. She also has stage 3 heart failure. Because cold weather often triggers her condition, it’s challenging for Nasheel to go out and enjoy typical winter festivities.

Incredible Christmas light display

To bring the joy of the season closer to home, the couple decided to decorate their house with lights.

“We just buy a few more things each year,” Joules shared with Fox 4 News. “We love looking at Christmas lights.” Over time, their festive display grew into something much more meaningful.

“When we saw what it does for people who come to see it—the smiles, the laughter—it really became more about doing it for them and less about us,” Nasheel said.

The couple has also partnered with the American Heart Association. They leave a box outside for prayer requests and provide information on how visitors can donate to the organization.
