The Atlantic Ocean is known for its fierce storms so building a road right over it may seem a little bit crazy. But that’s what Norway did with its Atlantic Ocean Road, which stretches 5.2 miles (8.3 km) across the water and connects the mainland with a peninsula.

The highway is often shut when the weather is bad and when you see this driver making his way across it, you’ll know why!
